"Chains"

Spencer George. Chains. Mixed Media On Illustration Board. 2014.

This painting was done in mixed media on illustration board for a final exam grade. It consists of pencil, colored pencil and acrylic paint. The goal of the project was to select on theme (heart, soul, body, or mind) and illustrate clearly. The theme of this painting was "Heart", and it's goal was to express that we are all controlled by our heart's desires. I wished to translate the gap between logic and desire, and how all of us are somewhat conflicted between the two.
